Indirect

CNN is carrying a wire service story about villagers in Indonesia who killed a crocodile and found human body parts inside:
When the villagers got over the shock of finding human body parts inside its abdomen -- together with skull fragments, strands of hair and a pair of shorts -- they cut the beast into pieces and divided up the meat.
So assuming they did the obvious thing with the meat they divided up, does that make them indirect cannibals?
